When you consider the round it fires it seemingly weighs quite a bit. The 240 is worth the weight penalty and is far less complicated as well as much easier to clean.

Same as people people buying a high end hunting rifle. i had a T3 7mm outbox shooting 1/2 moa, within 400 yard i barely need adjust point of aim.

I got mine last year at Turners West Covina, when I heard it was sitting in the glass container for over a couple of weeks I was like WTF!!! So I bought it on the spot, the guy on counter told me most people in W covina are poor and prob why it didn't sell yet. Mine came with the .308 acog total price was around 10k. Sometimes you get lucky.

A guy told me one time "don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat from around the corner"

Current pricing. Who knows, these could wind up like the Springfield Armory M60s in the $15,000-$16,000 range in a just few years down the road. FN only made 3000 of these.

                          $11,025 with bidding still active

Topping out at $13,500 (no bidders yet)

I never understood the m240 until I messed with one mounted on a humvee.

And $8500 is a great price if it is in decent shape.
