Anyone practice tactical techniques with airsoft?

I live in OC and the closest range is 20 min away and indoor where obviously you can't do much other than slow fire at paper targets. However, I have a large back yard and was thinking about maybe getting a higher end airsoft Glock to use for tactical maneuvers in the back yard, speed reloading etc. I don't want to be some airsoft geek but I would love to get some quality practice in at the drop of a hat. Anyone do this?

No, but please record your tactical maneuvers and post them here.

Man this site is going downhill. Nothing but sarcastic responses, nobody wants to really discuss anything. When I joined here 5 years before you it wasn't like this. Sad to see.

Anyone want to give real responses?

Is it legal to do so in your city?

Travis Haley does. There's some videos on YouTube of him talking about it.

            Check them out

Hmm, I didn't think there would be a problem with airsoft. Thanks for the heads up I'll look into it.

(btw I have no idea whether it's legal or not, just making sure a Karen doesn't spoil your fun)

OP, you can practice mag changes and reloading indoors. You can even get dummy/laser rounds. Thick skin is also a necessity. When you put tactical and airsoft into a post, you conjure up images of the great mall ninja. Have a laugh, I copped a whole parody thread recently, comes with a public forum. You think we're bad, imagine your neighbor's reaction.

I practice my draw and shoot with airsoft at home. It has dramatically increased my speed.

Why not LARP inside the house and just use your actual gun (safely) for speed reloads etc.?

That's what I would normally do, but most drills require live firing of multiple rounds and when you have to rack the slide between dry fires you cannot do those drills. Also, target acquisition during repeated shots. Various things like that.
