Ade's Guns - Attempted Break-in!

I just called Ade to see if my .45 came in and he told me someone tried to break into his shop last night. They did not get any guns, but they did quite a bit of expensive damage that he will have to come out of pocket for. I hate hearing this happen to anyone, much less a guy like Ade. He sounded pretty bummed. He has been there since 4 a.m. cleaning up. Hopefully the thief was discouraged enough to never come back.

I'd don a vest and lock and load to be on the safe side. In case they are determined and come back during business hours.

May want to install a system to be buzzed in and out as well.

Of all the dumb ------- things to do, this probably takes some prize.

1) Break into a GUN shop - not too bright
2) Steal guns/ammo - really dumb, not only are they bulky and only moderately profitable but you'll automatically be considered armed + dangerous AND the DOJ will be up yours for bona fide illegal firearm violations.
3) Did I mention how dumb breaking into a gun store is?

Too bad stealing guns is considered a non violent crime.

The guys that burgled me got 33 months. They were never charged with dealing without a license.. I'll never get the restitution.

i totally agree with you!!! what a freakin moron!!!!! i can't stand thieves!!!! if they want something, they should pay for it like the rest of us.

Hope he's got video surveillance set up. Body armor and a sidearm are a must now at this point. Low lifers are definitely stupid enough to come back during business hours. How I hate people like that.

Anybody know if the those sub humans that robbed and killed the owner of Fremont Jewelry & Loan have been caught?
