There had gotta be a good business in novelty rulers. You know so you can prove you your wife you are swinging 15 inches.

I never understood this whole push for needing a 80 proof. Are you not legally able to just go purchase a lower in store. I mean why go through all the bs with waiting for a sn then having to wait on pictures an all this craziness.

Its a IMI galil reweld. It has a folding stock normally but I welded mine, and its clear on the pics submitted that its welded. Of course its not mag locked, and its on "the list"

The gun is39" with the stock, and would fall far short of 30". They know that.

I had a similar run around on a CETME. The DOJ just wouldn't admit it was legal. They wanted the pics submitted without the fin grip to see the pistol grip clearly...yea, sure buddy.

Its called phishing, but with a twist. Just a suggestion "subject" if you want approval from us, your master. Its total crap.

I'm not so sure the doj is clever enough to lay such a trap. But if your are sure you might want to call their bluff. Remove the bolt and take the pictures as they suggest and see what happens.

They did the same thing when I registered my SCAR and AK. I just took the silly tape measure picture like they asked and put in the notes that the stocks have been internally pinned and do not fold.

                How about u do that.

You call their bluff. Like Ross Perot said, beware of going to war (or court) with someone who buys paper by the Forest and ink by the tanker load. Better to just call it out and try to get the serial number or send the gun out of state at last resort.

It’s definitely a suggestive trap. Many people were caught up in the same bs during the Bullet button RAW registration.

I met the criteria. The modifications are clearly visible and spelled out. They just need to approve the gun but instead they’re playing games and refusing approval.
