Walmart employee

I went into mountain view walmart to see if they were selling ammo yet. No ammo on the shelves. I ask the lady, who I have bought ammo from for years, when are you going to sell ammo again?

She replied "we have a ton in the back. We cant sell it right now because of the president. It all depends on the president." I responded with, "the president of walmart?" She said, " no the president of America. It all depends on what he allows." Then she quickly disappeared as though she didnt want me to ask anymore questions.


What gives? Am I missing something? Is there an EO I'm unaware of? I know she isnt a gun owner, as she has told me so in the past. I'm guessing theres more to this, but I dont get it.

Dang it sounds like we are gonna miss out. Maybe I'll stop by the week before. Thanks for the heads up. When they stopped the pistol/semi auto rifle ammo I lucked out big time.

I've since gone thru Walmart's myriad of red tape to get the store managers email address. If I dont get a response by tomorrow afternoon I will show up in person and speak to a manager. I have a plan to ask why our president is responsible for walmart not selling legal ammo to a legal buyer. I may ham it up if need be. Darn it, I wish I had been recording.

I realize it will probably be futile but I'm bored and I want some more ammo.
