    Ammo Shortage during Covid, Help!

I have had such a hard time finding in ammo in Southern California, every store I called was out of what I needed. I went to an indoor range while visiting my mom for a few days and had to bring my own ammo rather than purchase at the range. I had two boxes left of 50, so I was able to go but I started calling around to different shops to resupply. Frustrated as each call the reply was, "we don't have it and don't know when we will"

I finally found as many practice rounds as I needed at the LAX firing range which has a pro shop in the back. So, I stocked up on some ammo.

However, that took days of calling and searching! I figured it might be helpful to start a list of known shops that have ammo in supply during what seems like a time of shortage, and to state if there is a limit on the amount they will sell or if it is an unlimited buy situation.

So I am starting the list:

    1) Pro shop at the LAX range (buy as much as you want)

    Google FFL 03 COE calguns.

Not going to help you immediately, but will help in long run.

And the shortage is not just socal, it's national.

Go to ammoseek and search for 9mm. I bought my 115 gr cases at $0.15/round. Now, if you can find it, it's around $0.30/round.

Also, this should probably be posted in general section.
Too many rifles, not enough time...

any info you post will be transitory. Since all sellers are having inventory issues, they get stock in, then sell out again. It's a bad time to need to be buying.

I'd post a photo of my ammo inventory but that would be imprudent.

Shooting is important to me so I stocked up decades ago. Have my own place to shoot too.

All these people whining about looking for a few boxes of ammo is sad. If you could dump your fascist regime you'd be better off, but you just have too many liberals.

                    You SHOULD'VE started stockpiling, when Norinco was $.99 a box o' 20.

I'm financially embarrassed to admit that I have a compulsive, routine habit of buying ammo online every 10 days.

Have not had any problems other than lack of money.

Our ammo stash could pay off an avg. mortgage NOW... but I don't wanna part with any of it!

                            Yep!

OP, if you see it, buy it. Trying to maintain a list that is essentially a moving target is just adding to the time you've already exhausted searching.

Thanks for the replies. This is my first Thread, so one poster stated that I should have put this in the general area, just finding how to create a thread was a challenge. Ahhhh to be a Newbie! I'll get better at this!

On the Ammo Search, I was out near Redlands, and Ammo was out everywhere within a 30 mile radius. That is really when I felt the shortage. On my way back to LA, I called the PROSHOP at LAX Range and they buy ammo in bulk so I wanted to at least share that resource. Then, I thought maybe there are other places that specialize in Ammo...That is why I wanted to start the list.

Also, Thanks SFV Shooter!!! I will check out: Google FFL 03 COE calguns
