Oddly, my life isnt one dimensional to justify a decision to leave the state based on the sole aspect of the inability to have a pistol grip.

I bought CA compliant rifles to tide me over, but do love to use my AR and AK like they were supposed to.

A pistol grip allows you to fire from the hip which not only makes the gun shoot faster, it makes the gun deadlier.

OP, you've basically hit on the whole point. CA gun laws are not to prevent crime or to keep people safe. They are meant to be a PITA to gun owners.

My wife's entire family is here. Mine family is in free states like TX, MO, TN. We had to come to a compromise as where to live when we got married...so we live here... lol

But, she's coming around as she's getting more and more frustrated with the politics. For her, it's just the weather...I get that...can't beat the weather.
