    CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU TBINK

the 30 days TO undetermined starts the moment your status changes from "pending " to "DELAYED"
So if you started your dros on 12/1 and it went to "delayed" status on the 12/13 then your 30 days would end on 1/13 . thats what I was told 10 minutes ago by by my ffl

I dont want to argue with them over the phone. I said that i was under the impression that the law states that its from the dros start date . they release on undetermined.
This sucks . what would you do ? I am not lookibg for legal counsel I just want my rifle that I paid for over a month ago . By the way your response is the best news I've heard all day

I think I'm going to email them and cancel the order sure I'll pay a restocking fee but screw it . I mean it's really not their fault. Unless they screwed something up in the beginning. Because they say it's still in delayed status from what I've heard it should have already automatically switched to undetermined .

That entire quote originated at the DOJ over the outrage of thousands of citizens complaining about DOJ NOT FULFILLING THEIR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS MANDATED BY PC-28220.

As to the bolded in the quote; NOWHERE IN PC-28220 IS ANY DISCRETION BESTOWED ON A FFL AS TO WHETHER TO DELIVER OR NOT.

THAT IS A FALLACY CREATED BY KAMALA AND POSTED ON THE DOJ WEBSITE FAQ.

IT HAS NO LEGAL STANDING, AND IS NOT THE WAY THE LAW IS WRITTEN.

And is intentionally deflective in nature and play "WORD GAMES" with the actual text of PC-28220.

Deelayed...........I suggest you stick with ONE THREAD and quit starting a NEW THREAD every couple of days dealing with the same topic.

RIGHT NOW. Things at DOJ are not going according to the law as written. Refer to post #3 of this thread for what is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.

PENDING......is running long over the 10 day mandate.

DELAYED......is running a bit over the 30 day mandate. So UNDETERMINED statuses are not happening at 30 days.

You said your FFL delivers on UNDETERMINED. So wait a bit and get your gun. Or cancel and start over. YOUR CHOICE

Well they responded to my email . saying that if it doesn't happen by friday they will take further action . what that be I dont . supposedly waitng for a letter that is sent out a day after the 30 .days is up .to satisfy the atf requirement of proof of ncis background check . sound right to you ?

If they don’t release on undetermined after 30 days is up, do everyone a favor and out them. So other members know and understand who they’re dealing with before they make their next purchase

The issue at this F'd up time of covid-19 crap. Is that the Ca DOJ is using it as an excuse to be even more recalcitrant about allowing citizens to take possession of their lawful purchases.

A FFL CAN ONLY RELEASE. If they get either an APPROVED or UNDETERMINED status in their DES.

So even if the FFL is a stand up certified good guy who DOES RELEASE ON UNDETERMINED. They can't do so if the DOJ weenies have frozen the status at "DELAYED". And not sent an "UNDETERMINED" change of status to the FFL's DES.

If on the other hand. The FFL is a first class certified A-HOLE. Who has chosen a policy of denying their customers the right to take possession of their lawfully purchased property. Because of an "UNDETERMINED" status.

Definitely out them, and let all Cal Gunners know who they should not patronize.

Yeah. Witjout admitting error on the part of the "counter monkey" that misinformed me I was educated in the process in which it is near impossible to find any info about .so for all that are wondering
Once 30 days hit a letter goes out the day (supposedly) and when the ffl gets the letter its releasable. OR if your dros entry status changes to undetermined .which ever gives the ffl the coveted sacred almighty permission granted numbers to foll out the atf proof of ncis background check . Mary Joseph hosophat . you woukd think I was trying to purchase napalm or something .
