    best low profile hearing protection?

What is the best low profile and comfortable electronic hearing protection?

I currently have a Sig set but it suck in terms of comfort.

Looking for over-the-ear stuff. I already have foam plugs for in-ear.

I've been using the Otto Noisebarrier Micro's and have been very happy with them.

This is not good. I already wear 32db foam plugs. I want over-the-ear protection too.

              Walker Silencer R600

I picked up a set of these in a recent sale and was impressed with them both times I have used them so far. Liberating to not have to wear muffs. However is muffs are what your looking for the Howard Leight's Sports Impact muffs have served me well for 5-7 years. I also recently tried the Walker Razor Slim line and it was also decent ( a little more noise than the HL's)

Never had any luck with Howard Leight. Peltor works for me.

Not electronic, but low profile... Swimmers ear plugs, you can find them sold in single pairs connected by a string at most chain drug stores. I used to be a drummer and these were the only ones I found that really worked for me.

I have the Howard’s, peltor 500 and MSA sordins and if you are looking for the best I would say the MSA sordins with the gel cups. I do like the peltors also and wear those sometimes due to the Bluetooth and being able to listen to music as stated above.

With custom plugs, you can even wear muffs over the top. At that point, pretty much any muff will work.

Ok, are the DIY ones fine? I know it will be hot sometimes when I shoot outdoors so I don't want them to melt into my ear or even evaporate.

MSA Sordin for muffs, custom-fit ear plugs for inside the ear (they mix a binary compound on the spot and inject it into your ear canal).

I always double up, even outdoors. Hearing loss is cumulative. I take muffs off when away from the active shooter or when the range is cold, but always have them on when RO-ing a shooter, being close to a shooter or shooting myself.
