You DROS'd it (or them) without any kind of serial number ?

sorry wasn't too clear. This is NOT a self made lower, it's a serialized commercial lower that was DROS'd as a pistol. To be exact it's an Anderson AM15 lower.

You might think about helping fellow brothers and sisters here from going through the same crap.

And you can engrave anything you like and it will not matter. It's the same with the caliber reference on the lower, if there is one. It can say anything.

ASP Ammo in Vacaville. The really crappy part is that I emailed them and asked them specifically if they will do the transfer. All they said is that they wanted to see the DROS paper work as proof which is also not required. Buyer and I met half way and drove about 45 min each.

That makes no sense, that actually irritates me so much that if you bring it to me I will engrave pistol on it for free for me as long as you go back to them and make them eat the PPT.

lol thanks man. I'm in NorCal. My wife's family is in Walnut so I'm not too far when we visit her parents. I'll definitely check you guys out next time.

it's sad you have to FFL shop around sometimes just to do something obviously legal. I've mentioned before I had trouble doing a PPT for a complete AR pistol because "All AR pistols are AWs and can't be transferred". I went elsewhere.

I know 4 FFLs in the Bay area who will do a transfer of an AR pistol under normal circumstances. The problem right now is barely anyone is doing PPT due to covid concerns and the influx of business due to the civil unrest and the defund the popo bs talk.

ASP did my PPT when GFO wouldn't in Vacaville. My PSA M4 lower doesn't say pistol and my LGS did the transfer. Black Rifles in Sac.
