As far as I know, buying through ppt has no limit.
Selling, however is limited to 5 or 6 transaction per year. I forget exact count.

Once a month limit applies to new handgun from dealer. No limit on long guns when buying from dealer.

'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

There used to be issues doing DROS on a long gun if you are still waiting to pick up another long gun. I'm not sure if that's still the case. I imagine it is.

There are no issues of any kind for handguns or long guns. You are limited only by your wallet. DROS as many per day as you want, as frequently as you want.

Selling is a "soft" limit, if you need to sell your stuff, sell your stuff. Though in today's climate, selling thing not defense related might be more prudent.

Selling is limited to five transactions per year, up to a total of 50 weapons. Multiple guns can be in one transaction.

I believe I saw somewhere that there is limits on purchases in LA city or county. I don't reside there so didn't soak that info in. Somebody here I'm sure can shed light on this statement.

My interpretation was hard number, soft enforcement unless you push it too far.

Also maybe the exceptions such as executor sale.

(Trying to give the benefit of the doubt.)

                      This ^^^

The La City limit is a limit on geolocation not the individuals involved. But it won't stop you, the simple fix is don't do your PPTs in the city limits.

That was what I meant. The state wants to crack down on unlicensed dealers that aren't paying the state it's cut.

This. The law is NOT for regular guys selling their guns. It's meant for unlicensed DEALERS.

CA also says you can only sell 5 cars a year. Same reasons but I suspect no one here would NOT sell a 6th car if they were liquidating a collection or something because of it.
