Im having a problem with the buffer tube in my new VR80 shotgun and looking for suggestions from more experienced people than me. I was breaking in the gun with high brass slugs and buck shot, approximately 200 rds all with the heavy gas piston in. During the day there were a few times the bolt would not release when pushed, fte towards the end of the day. I got home and took it apart and my buffer tube is thrashed. Lots of alum particles everywhere, and bot sure what exactly is happening. I have reached out for a warranty call but still waiting to hear back. If anyone has extensive knowledge and can help I would love to hear it. Pictures attached below

Can't really make out what the pictures show, but aluminum scrapings coming out of the buffer tube means there is some sharp edge that is scraping aluminum repeatedly.
The scrapings can definitely build up and cause the action not to run correctly.
You need to figure out where the sharp edge is and WHY it's not aligned with where the scraping is occurring.Randall Rausch

First pic is the face of the buffer And the second is of the rear bolt. There is a lip on the rear face of the bolt but Im not sure if its there by design or not. That lip is what is biting into the face of the buffer causing heavy galling and grooves.Comment
