Ideas How to Remove Law Tactical Folder

need to swap it to a new lower..... only have the original flang install tool that's meant to bend.

I know Law Tac sells a removal / install tool but trying to avoid the time and also money to get it.

Anybody done so or know a good trick? I don't think an armorer's wrench will reach the grooves of the Law Tac threaded insert.

I used the same bendy tool and it came out easy to swap over.

I tried melting the loctite then used the original tool and chocked up enough with some vise grips close enough not to scratch the folder, no luck unfortunately.

called my local gunsmith and by dumb luck they have a custom made tool that he thought might work, it did luckily! took him a minute because I had melted the loctite already.
