Agreed. Front is ugly.

Nothing special imo that I can't build myself if I wanted to.

Someone give me all their quality parts for a particular build, and I'll gladly install and build it for you with love, care and precision.

Purely hype and marketing.

AR, is an AR, is an AR. They all are made the same, they all work the same. Mil-spec is Mil-spec is Mil-spec.

Exceed Mil-spec? Not hard to do. Mil-spec are those dimensions that will allow all parts from any manufacture to fit and work with any other manufacture.

Non-Mil-spec chambers are called either "match" or "Wylde".

Do you want to pay $800 on a mutt rifle that works every time you pull the trigger. Or do you want to pay $3000 for the operationally identical rifle with a big so-called custom name on the side?

my friend is very interested in guns and told me how his friend purchased a full rifle earlier this year. I asked him what brand it was and he said he forgot but it sounded "military" and he described it: "it's all mil-spec" to which i said what do you mean, and he said "it shoots 5.56"

I'm sure that DD rifle is nice, but you are paying for the name and someone assembling it all for you.
