My dad ordered one of these after he saw it on Hannity. (non californian) He was thinking of sending me it.

First - i think most town ordinances still ban these right? Its similar to a lower powered paintball gun by the looks of it.

Second - I don't think I'd trust it given its using a CO2 cartridges.

Third - I think even if it doesn't break local ordinances it probably is still a concealed weapon?

Anyway, he offered knowing the concealed rules here whereas he is in a constitutional carry state.

This thing is nothing more then a toy, and should be treated as such. Just imagine shooting someone with it and how much more it would piss them off. it is not loud like a gun. just don't.

That was my thoughts as well, it can't have any more power than an airsoft...

I don't see how this is any better than pepper spray for self defense in public places.

If you want to shoot people with paintballs, get a proper paintball gun.

I recommend Tipmann.

This isn’t a weapon, this is a deterrent. Could be useful in some situations and is probably better than swinging a bat.

It is not a firearm. there is no need to send it to anyone. Audiophil does great work from what I have heard, but he is not needed here.

I played with one of these about a year ago, and it is a toy.

Pepper is still pepper. As long as they burst on impact why wouldn't it be useful?

What happens if it malfunctions and the projectile explodes in the device while you're holding it? Now you're incapacitated and the the person you were trying to shoot with it now has total control of you.
