The long game is to put guns so far out of the zeitgeist that in a few generations no one would think to own one. This is further helped by Elmer Fudd being a caricature of the 'bumbling hunter' and constantly being bested by a rabbit who (IIRC) generally uses non-violence to best Fudd. Fudd's own violent acts harm only himself thereby cementing the idea that only idiots hunt animals.

POS Paramount channel has been wimping out lately and not airing Cops, even though it’s clearly on the schedule. I noticed this the other day and again last night.

Should have gave him a crossbow like on the walking dead, kids can relate to that show these days, heck even a bow and arrow, he is a hunter after all, Disney has bows.

Removing the cartoon gun seems a little ridiculous. He missed most of the time and when he hit it was just a smoke cloud and some dirt. Not sure what kind of cartoon violence they can do with the scythe that will be better.
