How do you keep your sling tidy?

@jarhead. Many rifles in the safe. All rifles wear slings. Trying to keep them in order and not all tangled up.

Same except I leave my stock at the exact comfortable position I like & want for shooting.

I would NOT bet on having the time nor inclination to mess around with my stock LOP when something goes bump in the night....I'll bet on his working / HD guns, John prob leaves the stocks expanded.

He's extremely smart & experienced.

On my two point slings, I leave the sling length as-is, fold sling over handguard and stow it with a rubber band similar to linked video.

I fold mine over the light at the end. In my case, they're all InForce lights - that excess fits in-between the light and the end of the bbl.

Rubber Band keeping it cinched to the buttstock for modern rifles. Mil-surps I just tighten the slings down and then loosen them at the range.

Also gonna cut up some old bike tubes and make some "ranger bands."

I also use the method that ironlion posted. I leave my stock at the correct length of pull and it works well.
