I hear Europe in general is less friendly of late to firearms manufacturing. The future of English and German arms being paramount. I wonder how Steyr or FN is doing.

Maybe HK will buy them out.
ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

The HK USA guns are just as good as the German stuff. Can’t say the same with SIG.

I don’t think HK is going anywhere anytime soon. With a healthy amount of global military contracts and civilians who overpay to play, even the potential bankruptcy and tightening EU restrictions won’t hurt them at all.

My thing though...is how has Walther been able to stay afloat for so long given their limited offerings?

HK should have died long ago. HK signed the same agreement that Smith & Wesson did with NJ that almost closed the company, except HK did it in secret.

HK manufactures the current battle rifles & light/all purpose machineguns of the Bundeswehr, they also export quite a bit of their small arms to the world. They will be around a long time, whether or not they ever leave the civilian market.

Sig is not going out of business, just getting the hell out of Germany.

                    Good idea!

Sig USA is where the money is at.

They could go back to their Swiss roots. Maybe bring a real SG550 over here

There are a number of outlets that are claiming SIG Sauer is bankrupt, which couldn't be further from the truth. SIG Sauer is a booming business across the world.

Looks more like HK is taking their German contracts likely because SIG is to happy to sell directly to the civilian market. HK is too good and the woke Germans like it that way.

Who is cash rich and might be interested in buying them out ?
Perhaps Indian company interested in the ACR and Handgun IP.
