    COE?

Does having a COE negate the 10 day waiting period? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to having one as a non FFL/FFL employee?

    No.

The only advantage of a COE is if you have your C&R (FFL03) and a COE you are exempt from the 1 in 30 limit. You are still required to wait 10 days.

the 10-day wait still applies for modern stuff.

But a C&R+COE exempts you from the 10-day wait on C&R firearms. You still have to DROS, but it is cash-and-carry after that.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
