Just used the search, I'm looking for a free safe place to shoot near Sacramento. Looking for a safe place for me and my wife, maybe a close friend to pistol shoot at. I promise too up after my self as I already due it anyway. Just trying to see if there is something anything free, not crowded, & closer then sly park or forest hill my favorite locations. Thanks in advance

Shooting in to the dirt hill thats there yes. Better then shooting in an open field at Courtland, where some people told me to go.

Honestly the better spots to shoot are way further out of Sacramento. Angels Camp is my choice.

Spenceville? During the week and in the morning.

Agree on this. It's about an hr away from Roseville. Best is to go early before the crowd.

Are you referring to Camp Nine Road? If so, there are few spots out there, but the old quarry is now closed.

I am not aware of any spots near Angels Camp. I live in Columbia, and know the area pretty well.

Why would you want to shoot your close friend?

Is Yolo open again? It's so cheap it might as well be free.
