    awb and 22lr

Quick question. Is a 22lr AR style rifle with the evil features still legal in CA? It has a fixed 22lr upper, not a conversion. And, or course, 10 round mags. The flowchart only mentions centerfire and the latest entry that a search on CG for "22lr awb" is 2016. Has anything changed since then?

The law only says centerfire when you're talking rifles. AW laws for handguns include rimfire though. With a rimfire rifle you're good to go.

      22 is GTG with features.
5.56: reach out and touch someone.
458 SOCOM: reach out and knock someone down.

Thanks for the response. A neighbor of mine showed me his HK last night and I was a little concerned. He's not really a gun guy and doesn't keep up with the laws. I just wanted to advise him if it had legal issues. Nice rifle. He even had an EO Tech with a multiplier mounted to it, which seemed a little nuts for a 22lr. But cool just the same.

And to back up your response, I checked Riflegear and yes, they do sell CA legal rifles with similar configurations.
