When COVID hit, we never slowed down. Bullet Barn (just down the way from us) shut down, and we absorbed a pile of their PPTs and transfers. Summer is here, our kids are out of school, and this is our first year (remember, we are basically a mom and pop shop) with kids in school, trying to manage 2A and our family.
We are now at a point where the county is opening up. Other local gunstores are approaching "normal". We have a 5 year old and a 3 year old that haven't really seen their parents in 3 months. We are going to complete any existing appointments, but not schedule anything new for, what we anticipate to be, 30 days. Now that we know you, the community we love and want to see grow, have alternatives, we need a minute to reconnect to our personal family. We have some super cool things planned, we aren't going anywhere, but for the next (anticipated) 30 days, we are moving to a transfer only model. We aren't completely shutting down, but we won't be starting any new DROS transactions. This allows us to keep inventory, keep getting you things that you can't normally get, but still have time to spend with our kids. We are more than happy to work with your local FFL to transfer the hard stuff (AR Pistols, Atlas Gunworks 2011s, and we JUST because Black Aces Tactical dealers). Definitely keep reaching out to us, we are still working, but again, no DROS starts till likely July.
