Isn't a sixteen and a half inch barrel on a shotgun legal? It's been many years since I messed with shot guns but I thought it was 16 inch barrel and 23 inch overall. Have things changed?

It used to be 18 inches for a rifle and 16 inches for a shotgun. I forget what over all length was but 23 or 25 comes to mind. There are lots of rifles and shotguns without shoulder stocks. That was why overall length was important. Mares leg comes to mind for rifles and many shotguns although I'm to lazy to chase down the models right now. Need another blueberry muffin and a coffee refill.
