    Knights Armament Rail Cover Panel

    At the end of a Knights Armament rail cover panel, there looks to be a little metal curved piece. Does that serve any function for anything other than aesthetics? Thanks!

      I believe that;s the retainer for the cover

          Correct.

          Pushing down allows installation on to the rail and it will either lock into place when released or with a little pull upwards.
