Do I need to update CFARS after changing address?

As the title says, I'm moving to an new address (still in the same county) in couple of weeks, my question is: do I need to report this address changing in CFARS system? Tried to search for similar scenario but couldn't found anything. Thanks in advance!

You will need to register one to your new residence if you change the address on your license to buy ammo

If you have a COE, then yes.

Sounds reasonable. It's a good point since I didn't think of future ammo purchasing. Thanks!

I will piggyback on this topic/thread since it is pretty close to my issue.

          I bought GP100 in 2016
I bought CZ RAMI in 2017

I moved from one address to another (same city) in 2017 AFTER Rami purchase. So, any info Uncle Sam has from my gun purchases were at old address.

I have not bought a gun or ammo since new ammo law came into effect.

I am looking to buy a new gun (either shotgun or lever-action, not sure).
          a) will different address from previous purchases have any effect on the purchase of firearm? CADL has current address, of course.
          b) will buying new gun put me in the system automatically with new address, freeing me to buy ammo without a need for CFARS online update?

Thanks for any help navigating this mess.

New gun should cover current address in AFS.
