There are many different "tricks" Marines use to improve their accuracy from the 200 yard line standing position.
I remember being taught that hold as an option in 2002, not sure if is still taught by PMI's today.
Edit to add: This is for 200 yard slow fire on a known distance, slow fire target. Practice and evaluation of basic marksmanship skills, not combat shooting.Last edited by phroggunner; 05-13-2020, 6:15 PM.Comment
