You need to spend more time on Calguns there, Russ. Yeah, it’s a great range. Nice drive too. No cell phone coverage whatsoever to disrupt your shooting prowess. Nice fresh air.

Be aware, however, it is deep within the San Gabriel mountain range; if it were any farther away, it'd be closer.

One of the popular public ranges in SoCal. Standard rules, steel case projectiles officially prohibited. Some folks say, the range lifts the policy unofficially in the wet season.
No preset targets, you can bring your own, or purchase from them. They also have a few private ranges for rent.
Overall, good experience.

OP check out the Calguns Community > CGSSA Southern California Chapters > LA Chapter section of this site. There used to be a monthly Calguns shoot at Burro, plus other events from time to time. You can go shoot Burro, meet some nice people, share some BBQ and maybe try out different guns.
