Ammo prices coming down??

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to know if anyone has noticed if ammo prices coming down. I was online on one of the online vendors and I noticed the American Eagle (dark green) label .223 priced lower then it was last week. Last week it was $7.99 a box of 20...today I saw it $7.59 a box and it was NOT on sale.

I saw Federal 115gr 9mm $12.99 a box where last week it was $14.99...I know that that isn't much but in comparison to what it was 5 weeks ago or so, I am under the impression now that it looks like the panic buying has subsided for now and with the country slowly getting back on its feet, I woukd like to think that this is progress. I don't know if other online vendors are doing the same and this may not reflect on your favorite caliber of ammo, but just wanted to share what I saw earlier.

I'll be picking up a gun this week so I'll see what's happening at my LGS. I always buy four boxes of ammo when I pick up a new gun because I don't have to do extra paperwork. Who knows, if stock is up and prices are reasonable I might buy six boxes.

Six months until election. I don't have high hopes of prices going down any time soon irregardless of the election results.

Online prices have peaked and plateaued. As more ammo gets back in stock, prices will come back down. Prices shot up because everything was bought up in a matter of weeks. Then so many online retailers were completely sold out. So of course prices were insane. Now ammo is coming back in stock and prices have stabilized and will start to decrease slowly.

I dont think prices have decreased in stores though. Only online.

No approval yet, I'm just being hopeful based on others here who have been approved. Friday will be day 20.

It all needs to come down. Then the scalpers will be forced to lower prices. Then they can get there just desserts for trying to fleece other people.
