Dumb question re: Glock slide compatibility

Yes, but change the ejector as well. Pretty sure you could buy a 10mm conversion barrel as well. -

I'm sure this is just a terminology issue, but not the "ejector", the "extractor". The ejector is unlikely to be an issue. The extractor pulls the spent case from the chamber.

At least in my experience in swapping .40/9mm the ejector has not been an issue. The extractor can, though is not always an issue.Last edited by JCHavasu; 10-26-2022, 8:27 PM."You fickers are all cray cray in my opinion. Non of you have an iQ over 80." - SandyCrotchSurfer aka SandyEggoSurf

No, I ment the ejector as stated. I assumed they were different due to the different case diameters like the 9mm and .40's are different. The wrong one may work, but its not ideal. But you made me pull a 21SF and a 20SF out of the safe and look, and I'll be damned, the 10mm and .45 have the same ejector.
I didn't mention the extractor as the OP was talking about putting a complete 20SF slide assembly on. I brought up the option of a conversion barrel, I've never seen or used on, but I know they are made. I am unsure if changing the .45 extractor is necessary when using a conversion barrel.
