Geco 9mm FMJ 115g ok for range practice?

Hello All,
New gunner here, and looking for the best options for 9mm training ammo. Unfortunately my local shops are all out of most options still.

Is Geco 115g FMJ a decent range ammo? 50 rounds for $10.99?

If that is all you can get, then get it. I have some, but have not tried it yet, so I cant say how good it is. My 9mm Geco is made in Germany. I have read that it is also made in Hungary and Switzerland. It sounds like a grab-bag brand.

its fine for range use. little high on price but prob your best bet in this time

Don't use the 124gr though. IIRC, it's got some steel in it. Most ranges won't allow any steel in the bullet.

I shoot Geco in .32acp quite a bit. Good stuff. Consistent and relatively clean. Better than Blazer Brass. Euro stuff is a little hotter than US made, but not by a lot.

Hi, welcome to the CGN forum. I’ve only shot Geco through my Glocks and CZs. No issues at all. For range ammo, I like using cheap 115gr Blazer Brass.

I've had xlnt results in .32acp, so I don't think you'll have any problems.
Do check that the bullet is non magnetic, to be range legal.
$10.99 now in commiefornia?
I'd stock up.

$10.99 is a decent price for 115gr 9mm FMJ

buy as much as you can afford , at least 10 boxes

I prefer GECO better than S&B , most of the ammo I bought says "Germany" on the box

From what I read before, where it was made will depend whether it's bi-metal. At my local range, I have seen people with the white box gecos and they seem to be fine. I'm guessing they're g2g.
