    Phase 2...

Does anyone know if Gun stores are apart of our governor's phase 2 reopening this week? I doubt it but he did mention "sporting goods" as one of the categories that can reopen.

I haven't been to any shops for awhile. Do the ones that are open have long lines?

My local is appointment only so there are no long lines. They do require a face mask and they take your temperature at the door. Inside they have tape on the floor to keep people six feet apart.

I hear it varies from county to county. In OC they are deemed essential and have been open this entire time. Many have migrated to appointment only which is very nice. I don't have time to get in line and wait hours.

The two gun related businesses I've been to never closed. My local gunsmith is by appointment only. OC Guns in Lake Forrest has a limit on customers but I walked in both times for a PPT.

Ventura County is completely shutdown. Most FFLs within 40 miles are shutdown too.

my local guns store usually has a line of maybe 5-10 people but they only let 5 people in at a time. I haven't waited in line longer than 15 min.

Damn. The two LGS at Burbank I know are open. One is walk in and the other is by appointment. That's if you're open to driving.

Newscum never actually mandated that Gun Shops close. When asked, he punted to Local Governments and LEA.
