    Talon Grips New Pro Grip

I've been using Talon Grips on all my Carry and Competitions since I first heard their name uttered by Hickock45 in the early days of his YouTube Channel.

This past week the unveiled a new Pro Grip that is a combination of their original granulate grip and their rubber grip. I haven't had a chance to really put put them through the paces but so far I like what I am seeing.

They seem to offer just the right combination of enhanced grip, and all day carry comfort.

Which version did you use before? I went with the gritty version but haven't had a chance to take it out and see how it does when my hands start sweating. I need to get some tape for the slide too. Maybe something from home depot..

On my carry guns I ultimately went with the rubber.

I originally started with the granulate, but found that it would tear up my side / shirt over time. It also seems to snag on clothing.

You'll have to let us know how they go. I can't CCW so I'm really only interested from a competitive stand point. But if they seem to last longer, and grip the same or better as the current granular ones I'm very interested.

I guess regardless, I've got another Glock coming so I'm sure I'll try them myself in 4-6 months.

            OH WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

They sell PHONE grips as well.

Don't let them know how much MORE!!!!!!! money they could make if they went after that market with effort. They might straight up forget the gun market.

The granulate grips are certainly more aggressive, and is what I still use in competition.

True, people drop their phones quite a bit. I think the only cure for that though would be some kind of landyard.

I carry a shield with the granulated and use it in IDPA (BUG-S). The grip is wearing out on the back strap and the front strap on contact points after 9 months. Ordered the pros earlier this week. Will see how long they last.

I've been thinking about buying some of these for a long time. I just don't want to screw up the installation. I'm not really great with such things.

Just take it nice and slow. I used a heat gun and it came out awesome on my M&P 9. Huge difference for sure.

I've been doing it for a few years now, so I have the process down pretty good. If you have access to a Heat Gun use that over a blow dryer.

They make great products. I have the grips on my HKs and wouldn’t look back. Easy install and big difference. Yes, bought the cell phone grip for my I Phone and love it also.
