No ammo at CoCo County Walmarts?

So I was down visiting my parents in Pleasant Hill today and thought I'd stop in at the local Walmart to check on their ammo.

The clerk in sporting goods told me that none of the Walmarts in Contra Costa sell ammo due to the crime rate.

WTF?

Is this a county ordinance or just an f-ed up Walmart policy?

no - coco and alameda county walmarts don't sell ammo anymore. Been about 3 years.

WalMart agreed not to sell ammo in exchange for being allowed to open stores. The anti big box forces joined with the "think of the children" crowd and the labor goons to trample our ability to get ammo. The bozos on the board of supervisors approved the whole fiasco. Political shenanigans at their finest.

i know they sell at hte vacaville walmart... that's where i have to go sometimes.

i think the kmart in pleasant hill had some ammo, don't know now.

I was in the PH Kmart and did not see any ammo.
