Buying 2 of the same weapon

Just curious...do any of you buy or have bought two of the same weapon? I recently bought 2 Glock 19Xs simply because one was made in the USA and the other in Austria, I also wanted to compare the slide finish (USA vs Austria).

I have done the same, just to have backup parts. But maybe that's too OCD?

Got plenty of Glocks. Leaves a lot of room for customization

Yes. I went to the range with a buddy a few years ago. He brought a browning hi power practical in 9mm. I was into plastic guns at the time. After one range session...I was hooked. I've bought 9+ hi powers since. Each one is unique. It is so elegant and slim. It fits like a glove and points like an extension of my hand. When you find something you enjoy....why not grab as many as your budget allows?

You can never have enough of a good thing. If I find a weapon that I like I'll always buy two, so I can enjoy the heck out of one where the other remains a safe queen.
