Yep Python blue is hard to beat - even 40 years later. If they built them like they did in the 70's it be hard to pass up.

Sure wish they would make a blued version.

No I didn't buy. I wish I could of but I avoid CC debt like the plague. And I did spend my savings on ammo; plus I have a commitment in place for a PCR which I am still hoping for once the SIP is over.

Their SAAs still look pretty good. I think they can do it. New Smiths get alot of crap, but I have most of the "new" Classics and the finishes are pretty good (and consistent) overall. If we quit buying new blued revolvers they will quit making them after all.

Modern CNC tolerances more precise than old method and today’s steels are more consistent.

For a shooter I would choose the new ones for sure!

The only thing I don’t like are the plywood grips.

Yeah on the weekend of ammogedden they release the new python. SURE wait till I blew my savings on ammo - including 357 ammo - and then release a nice new python. Couldn't do it last week -NOOO - wait till I'm broke you losers.

Rant off - not their fault I know - ok it was the JUDGES FAULT dang it.

Why arent they doing the new pythons with a blued finish? THAT deep bluing makes for one sexy revolver...

You really gotta get into reloading then you wouldnt of blown your load on ammo..... I loaded a few hundred 357 and 38 this weekend

Yes it was a simple fix, the kind of thing that happens with brand new production firearms. I myself would have no problem buying one.

Whats the deal with the trigger weight? In general can you make wheel-gun triggers light?
I can't pull the stock trigger on most revolvers due to disability, is there a way to get them down to 2 or 3 pounds?
