No I have never heard of any restrictions on lazers at a range before. -
It's always fun when somebody shows up with one. Especially a nice bright green one on a 38 snubby.

They bug the hell out of me (especially when they're the constant-on type waved all over the range), but I don't know of any range restrictions. There are competition restrictions , depending on the match.

We are an outdoor range, although you shoot from under cover. There are only a couple of times during the day when you can see them on targets. If you came out on Wednesday night you can after sunset. I have a Crimson Trace green laser guide rod in a 92FS and it is still hard to see outdoors.I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...
