The reason if you buy a new gun there would be room is because there has to be room every night that gun is in inventory in the safe. They couldn't carry it in inventory if there wasn't room. PPT guns or additional guns coming into the shop above and beyond its normal inventory carry level.

I have managed to do transfers at Glaser Arms in Brentwood and Richardson Tactical in Hayward in the last couple of weeks. Both are open.

Turners is doing PPTs. Good for them. I'll be going to them first when Im in the market for a new gun after this is all over.

I agree with OP. I think some FFLs are all too happy refusing to do PPTs right now.

                            This.

It is interesting to see members (especially, ones with long time membership and tons of posts), complain about bad service at a shop/FFL without naming the shop.

FFLs are supposed to do PPTs. They voted for it. Not doing ppt is just douche baggery and ought to be called out.

Oh, just go to your local pawn shop if the gun shops refuse to do ppt.

Whichever FFL you choose, make sure you ask them if they will release under undetermined status after the 30 days. DOJ is taking forever to approve right now, some people have been approved at 15-16 days, some are reporting 20 days and still counting.
