I avoid those "abrasive" grip tapes because they wind up damaging holsters and clothing when it rubs against those things. If you're just using it for target shooting / competition, then it might be alright..

Looks decent, but at $5-7 a pop why not just get a pre cut and sized option from any of several manufacturers?

That's pretty cool. Did you make that yourself?

Looks like you did a nice job.

Maybe don't follow the curve under the slide, delete everything from the pin up. When it's recoiling you want that area slick so it doesn't grip the web of your hand.

Talon Grips are 20. What are you finding for $5?

Surely a benefit, I didn't think about that. I was thinking more of better return on target.
Grip tape counteracts torquing, don't want grip in places that work against you.

OP did a nice neat job but I don't really have a problem with the texture on my Glock grips.
Hickok45 puts Talon grip tape on all his Glocks and other smaller semi-autos but he has very large hands.

U ever shot in hot weather where you're moving around and your hands start to sweat? That's when the stock Grips start to fail for me.

                              OP,

If you need a template, you can modify this existing one for Gen4 G19 (from glocktalk).
