    Sig M400 or Colt 6920

If you have a choice between a SIG M400 or a Colt 6920 both from the factory with Magpul furniture brand new, what would you choose?

Simply curious. They both seem very similar.

I own a sig m400 I love it, very reliable. I havent shot a colt so I cant say one way or the other. But I choose sig m400 but only because I have one. So I'm biased.

I don't have either, but I would go with Colt.

If they were the same price I'd take the Colt. They quit selling to the public so they're going to have some "collector" value in the future.

I've been called a sig "fan boy" my first gun ever bought was a sig 1911 target nitron, I've put about 5k rounds through it and it's still my favorite gun... maybe I am a fan boy

Colt 6920 because, well, didn't they pull out of the civilian AR-15 market? Get one while you still can, right?

Sig makes good stuff but Colt might be a better long-term keeper in this instance.

I have a 6920. But I’d be happy with either. Probably a better finish on the Sig if that means anything. The 6920 is the old standard. But lots of ARs are every bit as good of better.

The M400, it has several upgrades built in. For example QD points milled into the receiver. And a adjustable screw under the rear lug of the upper to remove slop.

With Colt you are getting a name. With everyone else buying the Colt I can't believe the collectors value will be high anytime in the future.

If you don't think so go look at prices of a Colt other than a 6920. 6920's may soon follow. M400's will not.
