Are the paddles on a dueling tree supposed to be angled back? I came across a local ad and the paddles (not the stem which is angled forward) are angled backward. I've only shot a dueling tree a few times and from what I remember the paddles were angled forward not leaning back like in these pics. Does this tree look like it was designed correctly and maybe even beneficial in this configuration? Attached pic shows the rear of dueling tree.

It's hard to tell from that picture. A couple of the paddles look angled back but not the rest. It could be just a weird camera perspective. Contact the maker and ask if they are and ask for more pictures."Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

The paddles of every dueling tree I have encountered (I dont own one) were all flat at 0 angle."Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

This is my tree.
Looks good. Thanks for the reply.Comment
