Giving neutral I-Trade ratings so the rest of us are warned might be an appropriate response to lessen these kinds of activities.

Interesting. What happens when you click the blue 2 of your i-trader rating?

People have problems leaving ratings sometimes because they do not remove the S from HTTPS when copying the URL.

That's a bummer, I have been lucky so far with my calguns interactions. Even the ones through the mail sight unseen.

In the upper right of any of your posts, your iTrader rating is under your join date.

Click that blue "2" and look at your two ratings.
My number is 29 if you cannot see yours.

If you can't see it, I am out of suggestions other than to contact a mod.

Brokerb- that gun is off roster. If your trying to sell to someone here in california that isnt LEO, your outta luck with shipping option. While I am by no means calling you a scammer. It would seem like a scam to me as well if someone is trying to sell an off roster gun and wont meet me in person at an ffl. I know that shipping is not possible....but newbies may not. And a scammer may try to capitalize on their lack of knowledge.

Agree to terms, pay money, scammer ships gun, ffl refuses it, scammer gets gun back and acts as though the buyer created the problem and keeps the money. None of that scenario would break a single law in california.

                    Just hypothetical.

EDIT: I went to your profile and saw that you were offering to meet in person as well. That would alleviate my scam spidey sense. I thought you were saying ship was your only option to buy. I get it now.

Bro, you’ve had two (that’s 2) deals in 5 years on the Calguns. Is that really enough to make such a rash generalization?

anytime you have a public crisis or panic some scammers are going to come out of the woodwork. I have had a few miscommunication issues with a couple of people but we have worked them out. This is the one site I have never had a deal fall through once I sent the money or a seller fail me.
