What? I've been in Cabelas and Scheels several times lately ... no 223 or 5.56 to be found. The guys at the counter at both stores said they have had little to no 223 lately.

I was just in Scheel's yesterday (Sunday) and they had bulk boxes of 1000 lined up, as well as cases of federal, and many boxes of some other kind of .223. Couldn't tell ya what the prices were - I don't own anything that eats .223 - i don't bother looking.

Even the big 5s and walmarts around here have .223 pretty much all the time now.
