    Local pawn shop is closed

How do I go about retrieving my handgun?
Was on a loan, but now that I can pay it off, what happens?
Will I still be able to keep it if hypothetically speaking my deadline is within the lockdown period?

Unlucky you. You chose to pawn the gun...you have to wait until they open. No recourse.

I would send the pawn shop an e-mail and see if they get back to you. If they do they might be able to set up an appointment for you.

I've never pawned before. So I'm just guessing here.

I would call and leave a message or send an email stating that you have the funds to pay your debt TIME STAMPED to today. You will probably still have to wait until they reopen, but it should give you leverage against late fees or loss of property.

Just my two cents. Good luck.

Or maybe call/email and say you have the money today, you went to the post office and got a money order for the full amount today, and when they open backup you'll give them that money order (marked today) and they'll give you the gun back no matter how long it was in storage due to shelter in places orders.

Call or email and then mail them a check if no response? The envelope will be postmarked.
