My LGSs are basically being forced to cease operation by county government because it has been deemed non-essential business, while marijuana dispensaries are allow to operate (wtf?). Why is this LGS's fault?

Anyhow, most people affected are now are last minute panickers who either by direct action or inaction allowed erosion of their 2A rights in CA. I doubt most of them will ever become enlightened. Thus, i don't feel sorry for them.

I will continue to support my LGSs.

Support your local lgs. They are providing a service that many people want to go away and while you may think they are bending over, they are doing their best to stay in business and pay their workers as well.

They have a lot to comply with on a normal day, let alone during a panic & pandemic. I have chosen to stay away for now (even though my birthday gift, the Glock 44, was headed my way). They have a lot on their plates right now. Once this blows over I will go back and resume business.

News flash; most smaller LGS's are sold out of inventory!!! Why should they remain open to public foot traffic and risk the health/lives of owners and staff...??? Those that are open for buyer pick up once selling out are doing all that they can and should.

I know my LGS is sold out of all firearms but the most expensive high end 1911's. Why should they still be open with nothing to sell?

Another factor is that the Ca DOJ system was going up/down/up down constantly making it almost impossible to transact business.

I will continue to support my LGS! Money spent locally---stays local.

We need to keep our gun stores open!

I have to agree with Rocky. Santa Cruz Armory has always been a top notch dealer. he supports NRA Dinners and is an all around good guy with a nice family.
Many gun stores are closed because they have a legitimate concern for their families health. Others have been forced to close by authorities. Maybe I'm in a cave, but I haven't seen any price gouging locally (San Jose area).
Let's all stick together and remember who the real enemy is...democrats, socialists, progressives, and the California legislature.

I support ethical stores that provide good service. And I will continue to support them.

Really funny about Kaliforniastan... Illinois, even with a similar "shelter in place" order, had 'gun stores' deemed essential...

That said, if there are no more guns nor ammo to sell, why should an LGS remain open? I would suggest that they remain open through appointments for pick-ups and/or if someone wants to get those high-end 1911s (just like a few pharmacies).
