CA liberal mayors will be quick to order shut down of business they don't approve of.

They will be more likely to "look away" when considering businesses they approve of.

I drove by GFOS in Dublin yesterday and they had a line waiting at the door. I figured that they were only allowing a few in at a time to shop? I don't know if the indoor range was open either.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

GFOS was supposed to have a big event this weekend. Vendors, C+R guns, sale, etc. I am curious if they will follow similar protocol. Looking for a C + R SKS...

I thought the ad said it was only at the Vacaville location?

Weed shops are being left alone because weed has "medicinal benefits".
We all know that the vast majority of people buying weed in the weed shops are doing so for recreational use.
I would argue that firearms help guarantee personal safety which is more important than recreational weed.

Aren't local governments making 15% or better in taxes on the weed shops?

                  NOPE!

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) announced yesterday that it plans to raise taxes on the legal cannabis industry once again.

PLUS.............exorbitant License fees, local EXCISE tax, SALES tax. ON and ON and ON

Additionally, the 15% cannabis excise tax is based on the average market price of cannabis or cannabis products in a retail transaction.

As much as I can't stand GFOS, it's never a good thing when an FFL or gun store is ordered to close

Wonder if they've shut down any abortion clinics.

FWIW I heard recreational sales are off limits, only people with prescriptions. Cant confirm it, heard from a family member.

At 12:15 today GFOS in Dublin had a 40 yd. long line of folks waiting entrance to the store. Across the street at Big5 it looked quiet.
