SAC VALLEY RANGE temporary closure as of 3/18/20

I got an email last night from the board at Sac Valley stating they had made the decision to close the range until further notice. I have attached the image I received from a friend but just checked their facebook page and nothing posted there yet.

I typically don't post these kinds of messages up but I do want to help prevent someone from taking the drive all the way out there and not be able to shoot. Stay safe!! FB

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Thanks for this. Was actually thinking this might happen sooner than later. Was planning on going out there the first sunny day. Too bad, I have some rifles with optics that desperately need sighting in [emoji3062]

I was there yesterday with my Son, shooting some loads we made over the weekend. I called first and they sounded like I was crazy to check if they were open

I was really hoping they would be open during this, since I hear the government encouraging us to exercise outdoors. The only close contact with people is when we are paying our range fees, so maybe if they had a booth set up or something? I guess the BLM land will be busy soon!!!
