Mike Seeklander: It's Not Your Trigger Control

Good read.
I think a good analogy to use is a car since most of us drive.
No single car can do ALL types of driving.
Some designs are superior for a single task and some are good for a few.
Pick up kids, commute, off road, road course, drag strip........
Do we drive all cars the same?
Try to off road a 2wheel drive truck then a 4wheel drive.
You will drive each one different.
Modify the tool.
Adapt to the tool.
Modify, adapt, modify, adapt.....
Some designs are a "natural" fit.
The need for a special task tool CCW can feel "awkward"
Solution?
No single answer.
A person can just pick up tool for the first time and be really good with it.
Most need to practice and learn from others.
Try new ideas for extended time before saying it does not work.
Multiple physical and mental skill sets are needed and all have affects on the outcome. -
I sometimes alternate between first and middle finger triggering on the AR rifles. The middle finger allows you to truly squeeze through the full motion, you can pull it 1/2 way through and release it back. The first finger pull will not do that, it slips all the way through the action.
You do get that "surprise" effect when it fires and you can see zero movement of the rifle from that. I found the Sparrow grip allows for that to work very well.Comment
