    Taveling

    I plan on taking my 590 with me in my travel! What I need to know? I plan on being in it case locked in the truck. Will I have any problems going and coming back?

                          To be safe: Always locked in the case, unloaded. Securely store ammo separately.

                          If you are staying in a hotel/motel, do not leave your gun(s) in the vehicle. You may be able to take them to your room, or maybe not, depending upon the inn's policy. Check first.

                              Correct, he had already specified that it would be in a locked container but had not specified whether it would be unloaded.

                                                          As long as the firearm is unloaded and in a locked container or in the vehicle's trunk, then you are good-to-go (legal under Federal and CA laws).
