    FSC Card Not Signed

    Hello Guys,

Just got a new FSC card and I realized that I signed the card, but not the instructor. It has been laminated by the store. Will this cause problems when I try to use it in the future?

    Thanks in advance!

I've had dros drama for lesser things. Go back to the issuer and have them fix it. For the record the same thing happened to me and that's what I did.

You need both yours and the instructors signature on the FSC. Make sure each signature is on the correct line too. I once did a PPT where a guy signed above the line where his signature goes and the FFL would not do the PPT. He ended up taking the FSC test all over again and paid the testing fees too.

Yes. It will cause problems. It happened to me. The instructor must sign.

Thought you weren't supposed to laminate them?

Join the military and you don't have to get a FSC card. Your military ID card will suffice.

Being an 03 FFL (C&R) is no help. Get a COE from the state and become a DOJ registered instructor, if you can. Then YOU can issue FSC cards.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

Get a hunting license and only buy long guns.

That was the "rice paper" CCWs. Dealers have been laminating the FSC cards since back in the HSC days.

                          This would be my recommendation.

Only buy guns from 'the man in the Raiders jacket' out of the trunk of his '85 Eldorado, behind the 7-ELEVEN.
