    Gun trust????

I don't have any title 2 firearms. However I do own registered assault weapons and a number of other firearms just like many of you too. Do any of you have a gun trust? did you do it with online paperwork or did you go to an attorney? Is it worth doing even if I don't have title 2 weapons?

    Thank you in advance.

          Yup.

I also have Silencer Shop’s Unlimited Single Shot Trust, but SS doesn’t allow its use for stuff not obtained through them.

My understanding is in CA a trust cannot own guns. I wonder if it's the same with corporations.

In the real U.S. a trust or a corporation is the same as a person. So the trust or corp is the real owner. The trust or corp documents spell out which people have permission to use the guns. When you die, the owner of the gun remains the trust or corp, the other named people continue to be able to use the guns. I believe the documents can be amended to add or subtract people that can use the guns.

Couldn't that be done within the scope of a living trust to begin with? Seems like a will or a living trust would be adequate since the NFA gun trust doesn't seem to apply to CA. Still can't understand how NFA 'rules' which are federal are able to be sidestepped within CA.
